Wanna Share?

I’m building something bigger than a newsletter.
Think less “just another email in your inbox” and more “a community where readers also become writers and actually get paid for it.”
Here’s the deal:
- Got an article idea? Send me a quick outline by email: matt@credtrus.ai
- If we green-light it, you write it.
- When it goes out, you get $500 within 48 hours.
- Add an original image and a short 58-second video? Boom, that’s $750.
That’s real cash, not “store credit” or “exposure” (nobody’s paying rent with exposure).
Now you’re probably thinking, “Matt, where’s all this money coming from?”
Fair question. I’ve been running sales at Bay Area Times (a 250K-reader daily newsletter on business, finance, and tech) while also growing Credtrus AI (a 350K-reader newsletter on how AI is changing our work and lives).
I’ve closed sponsorship deals with names you’ve heard of; HubSpot, Monday.com, Rippling, Pacaso, Pipedrive, you get the picture. We sell campaigns ranging from $10K to $50K. Those ads pay the bills, and yes, they also pay the writers.
Why should you care?
Because if you’ve got a voice, an opinion, or just a take on what’s happening out there, this is your shot to:
- Get paid like a pro ($500 to $750 per original piece).
- Get read by hundreds of thousands of people across the U.S., from CEOs and VPs to interns and coffee-powered engineers.
- Be part of a community that’s more about conversation and less about one-way news blasts.
But we’re not stopping at articles. Here’s how else you can win:
- Write for us, cash in $500 to $750 per article.
- Support our sponsors; If an ad offer on Credtrus AI makes sense for you, act on it. (Clicking an ad and looking into the offer doesn’t make you a sellout, it makes you a co-owner of this thing).
- Refer sponsors: If you know a company that wants brand awareness, leads, or customers, send them our way. If they sign, you get a 25% commission. Or, if you run your own campaign with us, enjoy a 50% discount.
Case in point: we just partnered with RYSE. You’ll see their ads all month. If their offer speaks to you, check it out. When they win, we win, and most importantly, you win too.
This is about building something together. A newsletter where the readers aren’t just “readers.” They’re writers, partners, and people who get a slice of the pie.
Does this make sense? Shoot me your thoughts, ideas, or even sarcastic remarks. I’ll take it all.
Best,
Matt Masinga
